Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actor who is known for her leading roles in a variety of television shows and for her enthralling acting in films. Both Canadian as well as American TV are fans of Emily VanCamp. Emily started acting when she was 12 when she was visiting her sister Katie in one of Katie's movies. When she realized her love for acting she started taking acting classes, and then going for auditions. After some commercials, which were successful, she was soon cast in the Canadian Kids' Horror TV series Are You terrified of the Dark? In one single scene she was seen without saying any words. Her debut break came at the age of 15, when she got a role on the show on WB's Glory Days as a regular. Emily's acting talent caught Greg Berlanti's attention when the show was canceled after just nine episodes. The show's creator cast Emily as a character on Everwood which is his upcoming TV show. Emily was also a dancer and photographer. Teen once named her among the best actors who were under twenty. The Maxim's Hot 100 for 2014 listed her at #51.
