Eve is the daughter of Trevor Eve (actor) and Sharon Maughan, a writer. Eve has two brothers younger than her: Jack as well as George and was born in the United Kingdom and Los Angeles United States. She was a student at Bedales School and then took her A-levels at Westminster School in London. She was a student of English at St Catherine's College Oxford during the gap year. English actor Guyan Mitra has an older and younger brother. Jason Mitra was her father. The younger brother is a travel journalist who has published in Lonely Planet, The Sunday Times and other publications.

Nadia Comaneci was born on November 12, 1961, within Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onesti), Romania. Nadia is the Romanian Olympic gymnast, and has the record of being recognized with 10/10 scores during an Olympic performance. Bela Karrolyi was the Romanian gymnastics instructor who became Comaneci's coach later in life, discovered her at age six. In 1969, she took part in the Romanian Junior Championships and finished 13th. In 1970, she won the title. In her 1972 first international meet, which was an preolympics junior event for countries in the Communist bloc, she took home three gold medals. In 1973 and 1975, she won awarded the All-around Junior Champion.
