Jenna Fischer is best known for her character Pam Beesly on the acclaimed TV show The Office For her role, she received an Emmy nomination for the Best Supporting Actress as well as Two SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance from An Ensemble Comedy.
Born in Fort Wayne Indiana, she spent most of her childhood at St. Louis Missouri. Jenna was inspired by her mom's performance in church at the time she started her journey.
Fischer is an actress who has the theater background. The Off-Broadway production Reasons to Be Happy was written and directed Neil LaBute, with Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb and Fred Weller. Then she starred in Steve Martin's Meteor Shower - an absurdist play starring Greg Germann with Josh Stamberg - for the Old Globe Theatre's debut world premiere.
The Office star Angela Kinsey's best friend in real life and Fischer started her own podcast, the Office Ladies podcast, on Earwolf at the end of October 2019. The podcast soon was a hit. Each week it ranked in the Top Ten in global downloads, with over 200 million downloads in its initial two years. Office Ladies, which was released in the month of October it was nominated for iHeartRadio's Podcast of the Month award for the month of January in 2021.
She is also co-author of Office BFF's Tales of The Office: From Two Best Friends there. The memoir deals with their friendship and the work they did for The Office.
